Should have 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing high scale distributed systems
??Hands on Programming Experience in Java and Python and solid understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle
??Product Development Experience is a must.
??Ability to design a module keeping the end to end picture in mind
??Ability to adapt to new development Environments and Changing Business Requirements
??Effective Team Player and with ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver a common goal
??Ability to present and showcase the work to customers and management
??Experience in Scheduler Platforms (especially Airflow) is a huge plus
??Ability to think strategically during roadblocks and come up with creative ways to solve the problem
The Big Data Application Servicing Team within the Enterprise Data Platform Organization provides the infrastructure for the Data Developer Community of PayPal to schedule and run their jobs across various platforms (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.,). The platform hosts around 80K jobs across 3 Schedulers that runs 500K executions per day.
